SoftCo, the leading providers of Purchase to Pay solutions, are delighted to announce the successful implementation of SoftCo AP in the Accounts Payable department of EBS Building Society. The implementation of SoftCo AP has introduced total control over every stage of the Accounts Payable process for EBS, delivering tangible and valuable cost savings.
SoftCo AP was chosen by EBS to bring new levels of visibility to an outdated and paper based manual approval process. SoftCo AP replaces manual interventions with a dynamic, automated workflow – the approval cycle is streamlined, the purchase order lifecycle is reduced and new heights of financial visibility and compliance are achieved.
The benefits of using SoftCo AP are already appearing throughout EBS. “The system has been easy to use and we have had very positive feedback from employees. Once the invoice has been scanned and input into the system it takes seconds to circulate. It’s a much faster process and we are as happy with it as we could be at this point”, explains Gerry Forrest, Strategic Planning Project Manager, EBS.
The project was delivered seamlessly and SoftCo AP is fully integrated with the JD Edwards/Oracle backend that EBS uses for its financials. “It went very smoothly and we had a working framework up and running within six weeks.” explained Robert Hickey, Customer Services Manager, SoftCo.
Since its founding over 60 years ago, customers have come first at the EBS Building Society. That's because the core ethos of EBS is that it operates as a Mutual Society, which simply means it is owned by the members themselves and strives to ensure best value in loans and best returns on investment for its members.
