Dublin, Ireland. SoftCo is delighted to announce the release of SoftCo R8.2 for SAP allowing seamless integration with the latest version of SAP, V7.10. SAP users can now maximise the benefits of data archiving and leverage the security, lifecycle management and retention functionality within R8.2.
SoftCo R8.2 is a full implementation of SAP ArchiveLink. The ArchiveLink HTTP Content Server allows customers to archive SAP data and documents improving performance, speeding up retrieval times and meeting strict compliance obligations. It contains a barcode service which automatically links objects in SAP to documents in R8 and a GUI component which enables users to view documents from within their own SAP GUI.
SoftCo R8.2 is BSI certified and delivers a number of critical compliance and performance benefits to SAP administrators. Single Instance Storage improves storage efficiency by removing file duplication. Document Retention and Lifecycle Management features ensure documents are kept for the required amount of time and meet regulatory requirements.
